Growing/pruning plants upon particle collision—Maya raining dynamics

Hi friends this is a quick tutorial.I was searching for some dynamic effect such as animation of instanced objects according to the particle collision/lifespan.I have found a way to accomplish those effects very quickly with very basic expressions (I don’t even know the advanced expressions.If some one have good tutorials about particle expressions please share it).Here is the quick play blast I have created with.
